Renganaath’s collaboration with National Award–winning director Jayaraj began with Pakarnnattam (2010). Their work together spans feature films and documentaries, many of which are adaptations of literary works.

Films such as Bhayanakam and Veeram demanded nuanced soundscapes that supported period settings and psychological depth. Bhayanakam went on to win Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay at the 66th National Film Awards.
