Renganaath Ravee made his Mollywood debut as an independent sound designer with Lijo Jose Pellissery’s first feature film Nayakan (2010). Since then, he has collaborated on every Pellissery’s films, forming one of the most distinctive director–sound designer partnerships in contemporary Indian cinema.

Their collaboration is defined by extreme attention to sonic detail, extended sound design timelines, and a shared belief that sound should shape the emotional and psychological experience of a film. Projects like Ee.Ma.Yau, Jallikattu, Churuli, and Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam are widely cited for their immersive and unconventional soundscapes.

Renganaath has noted that Pellissery’s clarity of vision and respect for sound as an equal to image allows for deep experimentation.
